Health, Safety, Environment & Fire Prevention Department – HSEF
HSEF is responsible for all functions related to Occupational Health, Safety, Environment protection, Fire prevention and personal well-being in Saudi Oger Ltd.  The Department serves as a focal point for all business related HSEF issues.  The Department is tasked to:

  • Recommend HSEF Policies and related documents (Procedures, Forms, Manuals, etc…) in compliance with OHSAS 18001
  • Develop the Safety Plan framework and nurture a Safety culture, company wide
  • Issue Safety Alerts to warn all concerned about potential or existing risks and prevent the recurrence of incidents at work places
  • Prepare pre-qualification documents
  • Review and approve Site Safety Plans, Documents and Reports
  • Advise Projects, Workshops, Housing Camps, Offices, etc… regarding queries and complicated HSEF issues
  • Carry out periodic HSEF Site inspections for business wide alignment and comparison
  • Ensure adequate and continuous liaison with concerned Divisions & Departments
  • Identify Company HSEF problems, define issues and recommend solutions
  • Spread awareness and create a Safety culture within the Organization
  • Report periodically on HSEF issues and concerns to Corporate Management and concerned Division Management
The HSEF Sites' staff report to the concerned Management operationally and have a Functional reporting line to the HSEF Manager in Head Office, Riyadh.  The Site HSEF staff movement is carried out in coordination with the Regional Health & Safety Service Manager.
